Mineral Turps Mineral turpentine is a hydrocarbon solvent commonly used in paint formulations and thinners. It has good solvency with a mid range evaporation rate that makes it suitable for thinning paints and cleaning up brushes and equipment after painting. It is also useful for the removal of greases and waxes.

White Spirit White spirit is a hydrocarbon solvent used for cleaning and degreasing and as a solvent in aerosols, laquers, varnishes and paints. It has a wide range of industrial and household uses, particularly for cleaning equipment used with paints and other surface coatings and adhesives.

X3B X3B is a low flash point hydrocarbon solvent with high solvency for greases and oils. It has a wide boiling range and medium evaporation rate. It is suitable for cleaning surfaces prior to painting.

X55 (Shellite) X55 is a low flash point solvent with a high vaporation rate. It is suitable for general cleaning purposes where rapid evaporation is required, for use in fast-drying laquers and as a thinner for other fast drying surface coatings.

Toluene Toluene is an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent with high solvency power. It has a high evaporation rate and is particularly useful for removal of flooring adhesives, greases, oils, rubber compounds and silicone sealants.

Xylene Xylene is an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent with mid range evaporation rate. It is useful for removal of oils and greases and is effective for removal of polymeric coatings and inks.

Shellsol A100 Shellsol A100 is a high flash point highly aromatic hydrocarbon solvent with mid range evaporation rate. It is suitable for removal of oils and greases and is effective for removal of polymeric coatings and inks.

Shellsol A150 Shellsol 150 is a high flash point aromatic hydrocarbon solvent with mid range evaporation rate. It is effective as a solvent for greases, oils and polymeric surface coatings.

Heptane Heptane is a highly refined aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent with a narrow boiling range. It has a high evaporation rate and is particularly suitable where a non-polar solvent is required.

Hexane Hexane is an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent with a high evaporation rate. It is suitable for the removal of adhesives and sealants.

Shellsol D60 ShellSol D60 is a medium evaporating, high flash point mineral spirit type hydrocarbon solvent with a low aromatic content and low odour level. It has good solvency for greases and oils combined with reduced effect on rubber or plastic substrates.

Shellsol 1495/Kero Shellsol 1495 is a high boiling hydrocarbon solvent with a low evaporation rate. It is used in paints and thinners where a low evaporation rate is required. It is suitable for removal of greases and waxes.

Shellsol 2046/NCK ShellSol 2046/NCK is a narrow cut kerosene with a wide boiling range and slow evaporation rate. The solvent used in the mining industry and for a range of cleaning applications.

X95 X-95 is a low flash point, wide boiling range medium evaporating solvent used in the production of resins.

M.E.K M.E.K is low flash point, oxygenated solvent with a characteristic odour. It is used as a solvent for fats, oils, waxes and resins and is a highly effective solvent for surface coatings. It is useful with both polar and non-polar organic materials, making it a very versatile solvent.

I.P.A I.P.A, or isopropanol, is a very versatile solvent with a high evaporation rate. It is commonly used as a cleaning fluid and is suitable for electronic components. It is also useful as a drying agent to assist in the removal of residual moisture from surfaces.

Heating Oil A low viscosity hydrocarbon product used for industrial and domestic heating.

Solvent D Fuel for diesel powered engines.

Ethanol IMS 95% Industrial Methylated Spirits for cleaning purposes. This product is denatured and not fit for human consumption. A general purpose cleaner miscible with water and hydrocarbon solvents.

Ethanol IMS 100% Denatured 100% Industrial Ethanol suitable for waterless cleaning applications. This product can be purchased without a permit from the Australian Taxation Office.

Methanol Methanol is a low flash point solvent with a high evaporation rate. It is particularly effective as a solvent for natural and synthetic resins used in surface coatings.

All Purpose Thinners Specially formulated for use with acryilc paints and commonly used in automotive and manufacturing workshops for thinning and cleaning purposes including paint gun washing.

Epoxy Thinners Flammable solvent blend designed to dissolve uncured epoxy products on mixing equipment, trowels and brushes.

Prepsol Prepsol is a low aromatic hydrocarbon solvent designed for cleaning surfaces prior to painting. It is an effective solvent for removing waxes, grease, tar, silicones and adhesives from automotive body panels.

Grease & Wax Heavy duty solvent for the removal of grease and wax from surfaces prior to painting. For automotive applications it is effective for the removal of polishes and sticker residues.

Gunwash Thinners High solvency thinner primarily for use in cleaning spray guns and spray lines. Suitable for use with most paints.

Degreaser Heavy duty degreaser for use in cleaning engines, paths and driveways.

Acetone Acetone is a low flash point solvent with a high evaporation rate. It is commonly used as a thinner for fibreglass resins and for cleaning equipment used with fibreglass resins and uncured epoxy. It is useful in cleaning metal prior to painting and also for cleaning glass surfaces. It dissolves many pastics and synthetic fibres.
